I am just making a little post about the addictive substance called Twilight. I would caution anyone that is thinking about trying it to think twice because it is a never ending cycle. I myself have inadvertently caused my mom and two sisters to try Twilight and things will never be the same. Suddenly all you can think about is Twilight and when you can get some more. So before you decide to try some Twilight STOP and make sure you have endless amounts of free time.

So I am taking a web page design class for my computer elective and I felt inspired to update by blog a bit. Changing the colors wasn't too bad I just had to change the styles in the header but the rounded corners were all pictures that I had to download, change the color map, recolor, upload to photobucket, and relink to. I am pretty proud of how it looks I still have to work on the comments part but I am having trouble with the original links for the pictures so I guess I will see what happens later.

School is Boring

Right now I am in the library at school because my class got over 15 minutes ago and I don't work for almost an hour. I would like to go home and relax between but I wouldn't get that much down time and it would be a waste of gas. I usually work on my math homework as it has been pretty hard lately but I don't have any today. I should try and post some pictures from Halloween when I get home if I can remember. I probably have some other stuff to share also but I will have to look through my recent pictures and stuff. I don't think I have said anything on here about what classes I am taking yet. Well, I have Linear Algebra and Calculus, Microeconomics, Financial Accounting, Speech, and Business Ethics. I don't really like math or business ethics that much because they are a lot of work for me, but one thing that suprised me was that I am really enjoying speech. We have a cool class and my friend, Amber, is in there so I have people to talk to. The most recent speech we made was today and it was a group speech where we had to teach people something. We taught them how to flirt basically. It was so funny, it was me and three guys, we had like the under confident messy dude, the cocky and flashy dude, and then we had the normal good example. So I was supposed to be the girl they were trying to flirt with and Garrett who was the cocky guy had the funniest line ever. He did warn me a bit so I would answer correctly. Well here is how it goes ... Garrett: " I have a magic watch and it is telling my you aren't wearing any panties." ... Me: "Well, I am." (he told me to answer like this) ... Garrett: "Sorry, it is an hour fast." I told Mom when I got home and she told Dad that some boy said something rude to me at school today to see what he would do. He asked me what the boy said I repeated that whole thing and he just laughed. Mom did later inform him that it was for a skit. I like that our speech class is pretty informal and fun like that. Adios!

Like the title says. Apparently it takes some kind of disaster to make me update my blog. The storm was at lunch time and only lasted like 40 minutes, but caused a lot of damage all over town. We lost power during the storm and didn't get it back until 3:00 am. Luckily none of our trees cause any damage and all the cars were fine also.

Here are some pictures from Dad's birthday. We gave Alex our gifts that day also. Mom and Dad got him a SpongeBob fishing pole that came with a Plankton casting plug. Alex really liked being able to fish with the other "big boys". I got him a Cars book I saw when I was visiting Rachel in Manhattan, the front of the book is a puzzle where you slide the pieces around to make a picture. It reminded me of this airplane book he really likes. Jenny and Nathan brought along one of his presents, some squirt guns that we had a lot of fun with. We had a little trouble trying to make sure we said to squirt someone and not to shoot them. Grandpa and Grandma got him a little toy Hummer towtruck thing, I don't think I got a very good picture of it. I also have some pictures of Dad opening his presents from Jeremy and Family (some kind of drill like sander) and from Jenny and Nathan ( a bunch of fishing stuff). I am also going to put up a video of some of the stuff from that visit on another post because it is kind of hard to upload videos on here for my internet.

During Spring Break I decided that I was going to do a lot of cooking that I wanted to do but didn't have time. I made Mountain Dew cupcakes but they tasted a lot more like lemon than Mountain Dew. I heard that M.D. has an orange base instead of lemon/lime so one person making the recipe was going to use orange extract instead of lemon. The frosting was super sweet and I only I one of the two dozen made. Josh's job was to eat the things I made. I also made Oreo balls which I remembered to take a picture of before they were gone. I ate one a couple days ago and almost puked because they were so super sweet, but other people seemed to be fine eating them even if you can only eat one at a time because of the sweetness factor. I also made puppy chow, twice. I plan to make some more because it is the only thing I made that I really eat. I was also planning to make these coconut balls but I didn't get around to it. I plan on rolling them in coconut instead of sparkling sugar because I don't really like sprinkles.

Okay, so I haven't posted in forever, but I decided that is fine because most of you haven't been on top of it either. I was just watching some YouTube and decided to make a blog because I haven't the urge to make a video at this moment. As you can see I put some pictures from Christmas up because I haven't yet and I took a million of them. I started classes again and I already have homework. I am hoping that I will start to make some YouTube videos again but when I get a job I just don't know how much time I'll have. I guess I'll just have to stop reading so much random junk and watching too many random videos. I also decided that when I make more videos they are going to be short because really, no one wants to watch me blab on for ten minutes about my life. Jenny is coming to stay with us on Friday while Nathan is gone. I don't know how long she will be staying but it will be at least a few days. Anyways, what I am trying to tell you about is that Jenny, while she is here, is going to dye and cut my hair. I will try to get a picture on here as soon as I get it done, I will probably update my Facebook picture also. Well, I might try to make a short video tonight so that means I should probably go now! I don't really remember what all is on my videos so I hope I don't offend anyone but you are taking a risk in watching, and just remember no one really watches my videos.

Okay, so my room was really messy again and I could not sleep a couple nights ago and decided to start cleaning it. I am cleaning out my closet my drawer throwing away half of my junk, it is cleansing for the soul! Also I have to show how I won the little mine sweeper game in 7 seconds just like Joy. Ha! Okay on to the pictures. I have cleaned my room more since these were taken but since I'm not finished I will wait to put the final ones up when I am. I am also putting some pictures of Lady after she decided she liked to play in pop boxes. One picture is of my holding a string and it is the cord for my light, I haven't had one in years so I could never turn the light on it is weird now to turn it on but nice. You will also find a cardboard cow in one picture, I made it for a Jack and the Bean Stalk skit in like 5th grade and could never get rid of it and I finally am going to throw it away.If you notice in the picture with the volleyballs I am finally throwing away my dead hermit crab, it has been dead around 6 years. I think I have some kind of hoarding disease!

There is this web site for teen girls that I go to sometimes and on a blog entry a person was talking about The Secret Life of the American Teenager show and was putting it down and so many comments were also negative so I wrote a comment about how I love it and it was getting really long so I decided to blog about it and if the people who looked at my comment wanted to read more they could look at my blog! So this show is about a 15 year old girl named Amy who slept with the hot drummer at band camp and got pregnant. The first episode she takes a test and then proceeds to tell her two best friends that she is pregnant, the friends then end up going and telling everyone within a couple weeks. I found this part funny because it is so true, in high school even your best friends are not able to keep your secrets and if the secret somehow gets out you should be able to figure out that the only two people you told were the ones to tell the entire school. Also there is this girl named Grace and she is the typical "bible beating" Christian who has no idea how the world works and what is going on around her. Her boyfriend cheats on her with the school slut and she believes him when he said he just kissed her once and he should be forgiven because that is what Christians do, they forgive. She, wanting to believe and still go out with him, tells him that he was lucky she has such high self esteem that she would be able to give him another chance, I love this line it shows just how clueless she is about things and how she only sees the things she wants to see! Don't get me started on Ben, Amy's boyfriend, not the guy who impregnates her though. He tells her he loves her after one date, she is his first girl friends, and when he finds out she is pregnant he asks her to marry him even though he knows it is not his baby, did I mention these kids are only 15. I thought Dawson's Creek was bad and then I started watching this, but what can I say I love the fakeness of the show and I like to be able to laugh at a show for a straight hour. They never really say how big this school these kids go to is but I have a hard time believing that Amy would be the only pregnant one there, I mean Central isn't huge and we usually have at least five of our own girls having babies each year and those are just the ones who decide to keep their babies. Another thing I love about this show is the main character, she is so whiny, its like she doesn't want to take any responsibility for the fact that she was stupid enough to have unprotected sex with a man whore, and then she is mean to her super sweet boyfriend all the time, but I guess they could just blame it on hormones or whatever.
It is so early in the morning now and I slept till five p.m. yesterday so I have to stay up all day today I think to try and get back on schedule before school or work starts. I am putting todays Natalie Dee cartoon because I love almost all her comics because they are fun and rediculous!

Well, as I was commenting on Jenny's blog I realized I had a lot of things to say so I decided to write a blog! I am so excited for school and will most likely be getting a job in the library, because Pam Bower works there so I have connections. I have been enrolled for a while now and I'm going to take math 100, English 100, intro to literature, intro to sociology, and business 100 all pretty basic classes but I am taking lit. because I want to, I think I should pick out one class each semester that I want to do and not just because I have to, kind of like sewing class at school, helps me not to hate it so much! This is supposed to be my last week of work as far as I know and the library work (if I get it) doesn't start till the 10th so I get a couple weeks off and that will be nice. I am glad I can get a job there because on Tuesdays and Thursday I have two classes and they are like 5 hours apart so I would have to drive all that way twice on those days and gas is expensive and if I work there I don't have to go home during those times. I am sewing a dress right now it will be the second clothing item I've made from a pattern and I'm excited it seems a little big right now but it has a tie so I think its going to be okay. Its green because I found this cute green fabric in the remnants for $9.00 and it was three yards ( not normal for remants) and I decided I wanted to make something so I bought a pattern. I blame Project Runway for my wanting to sew so bad right now, that show always makes me want to sew or design, also I have decided that I should not be let into Hobby Lobby with a debit card because with cash sometimes you just don't have enough to buy everything and so you don't spend too much but a debit card seems almost endless and it is really hard for me not to buy crafty things especially when they are on sale and there are always sales at Hobby Lobby. Also there is a huge fruit snack sale going on at Dillons and I have eaten so many of them I love fruit by the foot. Mom bought a pet carrier for the cats when they have to go to their next vet apointments and Lady loves it, I put her in it to test it out and she didn't want to come out again! Wesley on the other hand is so scared of it, Dad put him in it and he said Wesley was crying the hole time, then Lady saw him in it and started getting teritorial but she couldn't hit him because the door was closed, but she kept trying to stick her paws through the holes to get at him. Other than Project Runway I am watching The Secret Life of the American Teenager, its about this girl who has sex at band camp before her freshman year and gets pregnant, there is so much corn in it and it is even more unrealistic then Dawson's Creek, which is probably why I love it so much. I got Mom to start watching it with me but she didn't this week cause Dad didn't want to, also Jenny and Nathan watch it. I really don't like writing long messages and having no pictures so I'm going to see if I can find anything to put on here. I found some yeah! Here are a couple of pictures of Dad and this little puzzle he finished (he was so proud he had to get Josh and me to go and look at it). Okay well I'm done, and I have a headache for trying to think of things to write about or it might be because the screen is like ten inches from my eyes!

So, when Dad is gone I always think about surprising him and cleaning my room and I never do. I haven't cleaned my room in so long it gets clean but usually that's because I go somewhere and Mom decides to surprise me and clean it for me. I'm guessing that when Dad gets home he won't think that I was the one to clean it and that's going to be fun to actually say that I did it myself. I'm so grown up! Fortune cookies, and things you never want to talk about with your parents but end up talking about them anyways. Because Josh was at football camp Mom, Dad, and I went to Hong Kong Buffet and after a lot of Broccoli Beef I got my fortune cookie. So like always I decided that we should have fun and add "in bed" to the end of the fortune, why I did this with my parents do not ask me why, I don't know. So mine consisted of doing something and I would get to have fun this weekend "in bed", ha ha very funny no harm, then, while Mom was getting food, Dad decided to continue. Something along the lines of you're going to do something unusual tomorrow "in bed", still O.K. I've learned to block things from my mind. Mom comes back, we share with her, and she says that it was his fortune and he would have to do something unusual alone, still not too bad on the all time scale of things,then she starts to make another comment but thought better of it while I was there, which I thought showed good judgment. Then, Dad goes to get ice-cream and for some strange reason I get curious and get Mom to tell me. She started to say something like boys being used to doing it themselves and it was not as bad as I thought it would be. But it couldn't stop there, no, it had to lead into exceedingly disturbing things Jenny told us, who knows why, and continued to Mom always calling downstairs before she goes to talk to Josh and everything just went downhill really fast. And all I'm left wondering is why I get myself into these situations, and why do I have conversations with my parents that no one wants to have with their parents. There is my long, long story but I thought this afternoon deserved a bit of blogging!

So, we are preforming the musical Damn Yankees tonight and I went to the doctor this morning and discovered I have strep so I am really glad I have assistants to help me with it and have been doing most of the work or I would have had to go tonight. I know at least one other person in the musical has strep and got it a couple days ago and there is probably more but they just haven't been tested yet. Mom knew that I needed to get better as fast as I could so when the doctor suggested a shot she went for that, but she wasn't the one who had to get a painful shot in her butt, hip is what the nurse called it, but it was my butt!

So, yesterday was Thanksgiving and we went to Jenny's. It was fun and I got to see Alex, seems like I hadn't seen him in forever. A while ago when Jenny, Nathan, and Alex visited they took home some of the Duplos with them and we got some pictures of him playing with them yesterday.

Hey I can't wait till Thanksgiving because we're going to Jenny's and I get to see Alex, it seems like I haven't seen him in forever. I pretty much hate my economics teacher he is so dumb I just want to punch him! Okay, now that I'm done ranting I am going to try and crochet Grendel for my next English project but it is not going well and its due like Dec. 17th so who knows? I am so glad there hasn't been a play in a while because it seems like I have had so much going on otherwise. I found two girls in the troup who also listen to FIF, so that was cool. I'm dreading the musical even though its not till February because it is going the take so much work, we're doing Damn Yankees in case you didn't know. Okay, I feel now that I have updated because I haven't in so long, although I have updated my other blog which you should go check out! Bye!

So a little bit of what I've been doing lately. We just finished with our second fall play Noises Off and we are really hoping that we get to preform at conference, all the judges seemed to really like it and seemed to be impressed with the professionalism and the set. I have the next two days off because of conferences so that good, even though Saturday I have to work concessions at the Bi-Center from 6 am to 2 pm. I am really busy right now with AP English because we have to write a ten page research paper, but I did get a 100% on Poseidon, if you haven't seen him finished yet just look on my crochet blog. I haven't done much lately except for the play it always takes over my life, but at least the musical which is ten times more tiring isn't till after Christmas break. I should probably work on one acts but Mom said no because I never have time to do homework and I am always so worn out. On a final note it is so cool that Alex is using the bib I made him, it never seemed like something he would actually use and now he loves it so much!

I have been so busy with AP English, The Glass Menagerie, and just general school that I haven't posted in forever. Lately I've been crocheting and doll ... Poseidon, for my Greek project for English, it is a really big doll. The Glass Menagerie starts in two weeks and I've been super busy working on costumes, but it is really good, it doesn't have a happy ending and that usually makes me hate something, but I really love this play. Alex was with us a couple weeks ago while Jenny and Nathan were in Florida adding to the busyness. I've got some cute pictures of him and Chalupa though.

I finally got around to post again before I leave for camp tomorrow. Alex and Jenny are here, but Jenny is at Jenna's wedding shower so we pulled out some old baby books. I decided to get mine and one is Jillian Jiggs. Well it is a little worse for the wear and if I order a new one the cover is different. I found one on eBay that looks basically new and it has the original cover, which is what I want, but they only use paypal and we don't, so I don't know what I am going to do.

So, I am trying to find things to do this week before I go back to camp Saturday. I think I'll rent some old movies and I am trying to read Pride & Prejudice, but I don't know if I'll finish it, I have been rereading books and I tend to read about a book a day. The library closes at 6:00 on weekends so I can't go today, but maybe tomorrow but I'm getting low on gas so I can't go out very much before we go and refill the tank. I thought this was a cool picture, man I was so afraid of that thing it took me years to go across, then after that it became too crappy for anyone to cross. The "new" swinging bridge doesn't swing and its not scary in the least. Where's the fun in that?

Mom went to Walmart and Dillions and she brought me home an H hook, I was so excited. She rented a movie for me because its dollar day, she got Bridge to Terabithia, it was a horribly sad and depressing movie. I know its supposed to be about growing up and overcoming trials, but I don't rent a movie to get depressed. I like happy endings!

We finally got our phone fixed, but mom and dad are pretty upset because it cost a lot. I guess some wire in the basement short circuited when we got all that water down there during the storms. I am trying so hard to find things to keep me busy, but I only have one Grace Livingston Hill book left and then I'll have read all there are at the library, and I've already read all the ones there by my other favorite authors. I guess I'll be rereading my favorite books, I do that a lot. I wanted to start this crocheted blanket that looks like a yo-yo blanket, but I can't find either of my H hooks that I need to make it, and I know I at least have two. I'll post a picture of the blanket just because I don't like posting and not putting in a picture or link or something to make it interesting.

We celebrated the Fourth of July yesterday, and the day before that I babysat Alex when Jenny, Nathan, Mom, and Dad went to a funeral. I took some pictures with Alex. I thought he looked like Richard Simmons in his muscle tee, so we put the red wig on him, but he really didn't like it.

Some might wonder how I get so much yarn and I am going to try and explain it. First of all the yarn above was given to me by Joy (thank you). You all ask "How can you have so much yarn?" and yet you feed my addiction over and over again (not that I mind). So, first it starts by buying cheap yarn to try lots of different things, and you never use the whole skein. Then your going to get yarn for a certain project and you see all the yarn on sale, and you think "I may use that sometime." but you won't. It's like someone giving a crackhead some cheap crack, how can you not buy it, it's so soft and pretty. Then people start to notice that you like yarn, but instead of sending you to rehab they give you more yarn. Christmas, birthdays, or just whatever, they know you like yarn and its an easy gift to find, and of course I don't mind, a crackhead doesn't refuse free crack. This is just an explanation of my addiction, and not a cry for help in any way, you can send me all the yarn you want!

I just read your comments about not posting for awhile, but I am in accounting right now so it probably wont be very long. I just got an e-mail saying there is going to be another knit-in tonight at the yarn shop so I might go to that again. I am struggling to keep up my grades because I missed so much school while I had a sinus infection, which is just starting to get better. Our last play is over and I am so glad, although it was a lot of fun, we had thespian initiation last Wednesday so I am now an official thespian, not lesbian!!! Jillian.

It is really nice out today and our apricot tree is in bloom and it is very pretty. Since it was so pretty I had to take a picture, and when I went up close I saw there were a ton of bees. So I got I really pretty picture with a bee in it!

Our spring play is called The Werewolfs Curse or Hair today Gone Tommarrow and I am the top costume director in it and it is tiring. One of the costumes I need is a dirndl to fit a guy and I still need two wigs. It is spring break now and a lot of this week will be working on the costumes but it will be fun. The local yarn store sent me an e-mail telling me there is a knit-in tonight and although I can knit I don't like it, so I e-mailed them back and asked them if I could bring my crochet and they said yes, so I might go I am not sure yet. So I've decided to try this challenge of Joannes, and maybe now that I have different meds it might work. Mom and I last summer went to the YMCA for an hour every weekday and I tried to eat right, we did this for over a month and I didn't lose one pound, but I was on my old meds and they cause you to gain weight, so we changed them. Before I decided to do this I was bad and went to Bogeys, so I went out to shoot baskets because it is like in the sixties to day here. Mom's birthday is on Friday and I don't have a present for her yet, I don't know when I'm going to because I am behind on my school work and need to work on it so it might be a late birthday present like Jenny's. Today is Jenny's B-Day, and She, Nathan, and Alex are here. They are not staying all day, so my mom made banana bread and put candles in it this morning. Alex is getting so big and he is pulling himself up on things and doing so good. I am so glad we are done with the musical, now it seems like I have endless amounts of free time. Until the spring show comes along. So I guess I just switched to the new blogger, or something. They made me change my password and I hope I can remember it. We have a four day weekend because of conferences and I am so excited, although I have a C in math right now. Our councilor keeps pushing me to do volunteer work because that is the only thing I need to be in the National Honor Society, so hopefully I can find something to do. You have to show leadership which I do the the costume stuff at school, and you have to have a 3.7 overall GPA and I have a 3.8 so I think I might try to go for it. I am going to eat some banana bread now. Bye!

I have been really busy lately because of our musical that opened yesterday. I haven't gotten on the computer in a week. Okay well I am in Theater Production right now and we are supposed to be taking a test over hanging and focusing lights but it is taking longer than they thought it would and I am in the last group. I know, I know, I haven't written in forever but whenever I tried to get on my internet would mess up or something and I have been so busy I would just give up trying! I finished my English research paper and the play is finally over so I should be fairly not busy for a while, except that I am taking the PSAT on Wenesday when I go back to school! I just got back from my sister Jenny's house and we had to leave at like 9:30 this morning to make it to the second meeting at their church and considering I had to stay out till 1:00 in the morning for strike I was not in a good mood. It was fun to see my nephew though and I did have fun so overall it was a good trip. Tomarrow we are renting movies at Dillon's since it is dollar day and we don't have school. Hey! I know I haven't written in a couple of days and I'm sorry, but my internet is always messing up! So the topic I picked for English is home schooling vs. public schooling, and I was going to be pro public schooling but I couldn't find much information in favor of it so I might have to go the other way! I am going to apply at Braums for a job because Whitteny works there and she says it is a good job, and I really want some extra money plus I need to start saving for college and a computer. At school we are working on our second fall play it is Arsenic and Old Lace, and the set is huge, it looks so great. Except that it is lavender and light blue so it kind of looks like an Easter egg. It starts on the 12 and goes throught the 15, I am involved in costumes and most likely will be involved in make-up. My mom is making me get off so Josh can sleep so, bye!

It's late, again but that seems to be the best time to write that way I can tell what happened the whole day. For starters, I think I did well on both my English test and my American History test! Hopefully doing good on my History test will raise my grade to an A. Tonight is the Central vs. South game and it is a huge deal here. I usally go but since we will probably lose and its nice to have a night off I stayed home. My brother went with a guy that lives next door, he talks to this guy all the time its really wierd. My mom feels like he likes this guy more than her or dad, because dad is not very simpathetic to Josh, so Josh goes and get mad all the time. He is a big baby, he can't even do his homework without making my mom help him with every little thing. If she says no than he does whatever he can to make her feel guilty, like it was her fault he wanted to play football and broke his arm, its not even his right so he can write just fine. I have to pick a topic to write a persuasive research paper on by Monday and I have no idea what to pick. Post any comments of some good ideas to use! Jillian

Hi! It's late and I'm tired, but I decided to start this blog anyways. I am really going to try to write in this one unlike my others. Tomorrow is going to be very stressful, I have a test in English over The Great Gatsby, which had a horrible ending, and I have a test in American History that I am probably not ready for, but instead of studying I am doing this. I am so glad tomorrow is friday, a whole weekend to relax. Except for doing my homework as late as I can on Sunday! Well, I think this is enough to start out with! Ta Ta For Now!
